We are thrilled to share that “Hands-on Machine Learning with Amazon SageMaker and NVIDIA GPUs” has officially launched on Coursera. The teams at AWS and NVIDIA brought Edios into the mix early, when the course was just a nugget of an idea, and it’s with great pride that we are able to hit the publish button and set the course live for the world to see.
Producing a quality machine learning course, or any course for that matter, is no easy feat, and this one provided some interesting challenges. How do we film a group of instructors that are based in several different cities while the uncertainty of pandemic-related travel looms? Shooting in multiple locations across the US was far too expensive. The answer? Film the entire course using Edios’ Film-Set-In-A-Box kits.
We might be a little biased, but we think the results are pretty darn good. While remote-captured footage will never look and sound as crisp as a fully crewed up in-person production, our kits look and sound a heckuva lot better than Zoom recordings. Sorry Zoom!
